What will everybody be looking for in scrimmage 1 today. Here's my list

1) I will be looking at the O-line closely, looking for dramatic improvement

2) Looking to see how the wideouts do with one-on-one 50/50 balls. See how well they compete and how hungry they are.

3) How our QB's look. I am hoping to see accurate throws, WR's and QB's on same page, mobility.

4) I am going to show up early and watch special teams play, 3:30pm or so. Looking to see how sharp and polished they look. Stitt has put more emphasis on ST this year.

5) Looking to see defensively how they look all around, how well they have gelled, how do they play together. I will specifically be looking for Favaroso to see him in action along with the rest of the highly touted D-line.

Good list, here's some more things I'll be looking for:

1. Specifically at QB, will Phillips bounce back from Butte and show he's the clear cut QB1 or will Hill and/or Jensen continue to close the gap? Phillips needs to have some scoring drives and obviously avoid the turnovers that we saw in the spring game. Hill we know is the most mobile, but I'd like to see more of his pocket presence, some time against the 1st team defense, and improvements on accuracy. Jensen, more dynamic play overall, stretching the field, taking some deeper shots, pressing the defense.

2. O-line. For sure on improvement, I'm really going to be watching that right side of Luke/Ralston to see how they've come along since the spring. Also 2nd team OL as a group, are guys standing out there?

3. Cornerback. I think we're in a nice surprise for this group of corners. I think we've got a good starting combo, maybe one of the top 3 pairings in the conference. I want to see the depth, Egbo, Cowans, and Nash. These guys are all young but seem to possess the skills and abilities to step up and show us the future at corner is bright.

4. Running back. Who emerges to be the 2nd back behind Calhoun? Seems based on Coach Green's comments in the paper that it's wide open.

5. Defensively. How the LBs/CBs adapt/adjust/play with more zone concepts. Like you said too, how the pass rush is, can the front 4 provide pressure on their own without the reliance on a heavy blitz.
