Sask, I hope you don’t mind I took the liberty of combining all your hard work into one post so it might be easier for the mods to pin this at the top. Once again, great work Sask. Really appreciate this list of Griz greats. Imagine the team they would make.

You should throw in his disclaimer about what years he used as a parameter - I feel like that came up a few times. Might be helpful to have in your post.

Hey Bama, thanks for doing that!
My disclaimer is at the start of the first post, but I'll add the brief version of it again. And please remember I wasn't trying to slight anybody, it's as subjective as hell.

I only considered players from 1986 to the present;

a. I only started following the Griz in '85 so I didn't think I could do justice to players from before that.
b. '86 was when Coach Read came in and established most of the GRIZ DNA that is still felt today. Spread or pro offences vs a lot of other systems that make players hard to compare. Also that was the year WGS opened which really changed the mentality and trajectory of the Griz football program.
c. The farther back you go the less information is available.

GO GRIZ

Thank you Sask for doing your lists. My work took 2 minutes. You don’t need to feel like you have to defend posts to anybody. Fans that don’t get it, oh well. Your always gonna please barely half the people and the rest got nothing better to do then complain. Alls I’d tell em is if they’re not part of the solution, we’ll then.... Besides, good luck to who ever would want to take on the behemoth challenge of an all time list. Good luck with finding all that info. ‘86 is the beginning of the modern era of Griz football, and by far the most successful era so just sit back and enjoy all Sask’s hard work and say job well done.

....rant over. Thanks again Sask!
