Safety Play

I’m not a Griz fan so perhaps I shouldn’t care, but had to watch the former NAU walk-on, now starting for the Griz.

What did we think of the Safety play? #10 is a stud, that dude needs to be on the field as much as possible. #2 needs more playing time. #17 starting and playing as much as he did is a head scratcher for sure. He can’t weigh more than a buck fifty, is slow and needs to get in the weight room. But he’s football smart right... and then he commits two big penalties on 3rd down plays late that almost cost the team. Unable to take on any blockers at all. Im sure he’s a good tackler. You have to be when you’re built like a kicker. But he is going to have problems. Good luck with that boys.

I don’t care how much of a legend the Coach is there in Montana, but Daddy ball at this level really isn’t fair to the team or the fan base.
Talk about some sour fucking grapes. Good lord.

Robby did just fine for a Red Shirt Freshman in his first game against the 13th ranked team with a QB that was at the top end of his conference last year.

Robby was NAUs “Defemsive Scout Player of the Year”. Guess who won that award recently for the Griz.....Dante Freaking Olson! You never want to see your stud up and comers leave your squad.
