We are capable of holding them to 150 yards rushing and I expect we will, even with Skattebo who didn't play last year. The problem is we gave up 302 yards and 3 TDs in the air to them last year. It's a major challenge to put pressure on their QB with that BSC-best OL. They didn't get to 30 last year but still won. We must control their short, quick passing game to win. And yes, we must score.mtgrizrule said:I'm kind of late to this pregame party. Other than Brint's original post, I haven't read posts here.
With that said, this is THE game that tests the attitude, fortitude, and make up of this year's team.
Personally, I have a feeling, this team shows well. I feel, the GRIZ defensive strength matches up well with Sacs offense. The biggest question is, how does our offense well. If we take care of the ball, and keep their offense to less than 150 yards rushing, Griz win a tightly contested game, 27- 24 Griz. If Sac gets to 30 points, they likely win.

Will Baer make the adjustments? Or will he keep trying the same, frenetic, send 6-7 guys and hope for the best? Because when they don’t get home/pressure, it’s a LOOOOONG day.

I'd be alternating LBs to drop 10 to 15 yards in the middle 3rd of the field.

I want the Griz to leave with the win but It’s not gonna happen unless the coaches have changed some plays around and the team plays an all but perfect game.
Frankly, I think the NC is gonna be SDSU/Sac State. I don’t believe there are any other teams in the FCS capable of defeating these two teams.
Oh and the Griz did NOT beat themselves. Bob and company were completely out-coached and I think pulling LJ in the ISU game has destroyed his confidence.
I think you're cat fan... you act just like em. Nice try troll.

Wrong. I hate State but I’m not a rose colored glasses “we have returned to dominance” fan. The hashtag should be #RTP (return to the playoffs).
1) the Griz haven’t traveled well since Bob’s return.
2) it’s a historical fact the Griz don’t usually win night games (exception with UW last year). They REALLY don’t play well in late night games.
3) The Griz offense is average at best.
4) The defense couldn’t defend a pass in a closet.
Why I think they could win:
1) I think they have been brought back to reality.
2) I think Sac State might be over confident thinking they are going to run against this defense.
3) I think they know they are definitely playing for a seed, and possibly even a spot in the playoffs at this point because someone in the BSC is getting bumped it’s either gonna be UM if they win 2-3 of the last 4 or Idaho if they win out.
But I’m not a great and awesome super Griz fan so I don’t. Also, watching the Kittens-cubs game right now, The Griz will beat both.
