Sac vs CP

Weber needs to beat sac, then UM needs to beat Weber and win out. I think that would give UM the conference title right? Or would it still be a 3 way tie if al three won out from then on?
No tie; the FCS domination map would kick in at that point.

I have often wondered how Cal Poly has effective practices... Normally a team's 1's can practice against it's 1's but unless CP is playing a TO team (and there ain't a whole of them) then they have to practice against their scout team which has to be good at running pretty much anything but a triple option offense. And to have to have an effective scout team they have to recruit players that don't play and maybe even have never played the triple option. So do they have a bunch of scout team players who won't ever learn the TO and so will never play on the starting offense? How do you recruit decent competition for the starting defense given that limitation?

Weber's doing great, no doubt, kudos to them and all of their continued success. The problem I have is the 2 year hiatus/missions the players go on while eating, lifting weights and getting bigger while not losing 2 years of eligibility....I've never thought that was particularly fair. Dont have any issues with the religious aspect, it just seems particularly unfair that the players get to do that and come back physically bigger and play longer than peer players at other schools.

It seems to me that if the mission hiatus was good for football then BYU would be a powerhouse.

Missionaries do very little physical exercise, save a lot of walking and/or riding bikes. They do very little, if any weightlifting.
I seriously doubt any of that is true.

Yeah I served a mission myself, am a practicing member, live in Utah, and have several nephews and neighbors who are currently serving missions. But what would I know? Maybe Mormons are secretly using missions to prepare their young men to become better football players.

Meanwhile UCD is hanging with Weebs. 19-14 WSU mid 3rd.

I'm not terribly impressed with Weber.

Have you watched any of the game? Score is misleading. Weber has manhandled Davis so far, just have struggled to punch it into the endzone. Go look at the stats.

I got to watch a good chunk of the second half. Weber's offense is better than I have been giving them credit for. Wearing people down as the game goes on. Not world beaters, but with that defense they don't have to be.

I think we have a new term here, SW. It's not "mansplaining"......it's "grizsplaining".

None of my LDS friends from high school or college said they were ever able to have a gym membership. Hours of walking and riding bikes came up in conversation.

Well, that IS the tinfoil hat theory. And unless you were a D-1 athlete and/or your nephews/neighbors were, then do they REALLY know?

So, what you’re saying is that when serving a mission you’re not allowed to use a gym? Is it like the coffee thing?
