My favorite part of the night was when Foy nailed a 3, the bench went ballistic. I saw Travis turn towards the bench with a big smile. Travis was loving the support the team has for seldom used players. You can tell it’s a big family in that locker room

All 12 play and 11 score. Griz lead start to finish and win 87-59.

A guy who is sorta unnoticed is Te'Jon Sawyer. He has vastly improved his game since last season. He is a reliable shooter from 3 and has improved his touch around the basket. And, unlike last year when it was almost a given he would be in foul trouble, he has improved his defense and cut down on fouls. And he is hustling his ass off like everyone on this team.

Fun to watch the deep bench guys get the final 5 minutes of the game to play. That was quite the sequence by Dargan there. Good for him! I don’t think anyone played more than 25 minutes today which is good as the season wears on. Lowering guys’ workload a bit can be productive.

Time for the heavyweight title fight in Greeley on Thursday. UNC has to play at ISU on Monday night so hopefully the Bengals rough them up a little bit!

I love that the Griz cleared the bench. Depth is crucial when you want to play tight defense, which is more physically and mentally draining than an up-tempo offense. Giving the bench PT can only help.
