Going to be some attrition for sure. Some guys are definitely not going to be ready for Haucks old-school hard-nose type of coaching.

I honestly don't expect a lot of turnover. I expect it to be under 10 players, unless there are more players than I expect, that won't want to play under Hauck. With his history of player development, I know I'd want to play for him as my coach. Despite different offensive philosophies, Stitt actually recruited the same type of OL that Hauck likes. Hauck should be pretty happy with the OL talent he inherited. I do expect a few WR's to change positions, and few to part ways.

Defensively, Hauck will have solid size and depth at DL and LB. DB's are talented, but not very much proven depth. I think he will likely the returning safeties, plus his son, Robby. Corner back is crap shoot beyond Sanders and Nash (who has absolutely impressed me). I am not sure how long it will take, but I only picture Nash becoming an All American type CB. BH converted TRU with outstanding success. Physically, Nash reminds me a lot of Tru.

Overall, I think Hauck has inherited a team with full cupboards. The biggest question is, How many players will survive Hauck's testing them, physically and emotionally?

I see a lot of those little wide receivers going to defense DB??? And I think the number one recruit will be a big Lex Hilliard (sp) type running back. Maybe a transfer to get started??? Boby said it big linemen including tight ends.. Colin

Okay this is one of those things that bothered the shit outa me. Colin Bingham is a savage. Becauses Stitt is a system guy he would never put two tights on the field. By far one most difficult to stop is two tights that can block, run, and catch. Really puts defenses in a bind. Bingham is a legit prospect.

Some turnover will occur that has little or nothing to do with the coaching change. Injuries causing guys to hang it up. Frosh homesick. Frosh realize it's not a good fit. Of course, I assume the coaching change and change of style will also cause some. Keeping some holdover coaches, and Nicholson assuming that is true, will temper the coaching changeover. Players often move on after spring ball, when they either realize or are told that it's probably not happening for them.

That isn't true at UM. It may be true at MSU, but at UM there is a football S/C coach and he is considered part of the football staff. Nicholson is staying because Bobby decided to keep him. PR is correct on this one.

I don't view it as being "baited". It's out of legitimate concern that that he might hurt himself if he doesn't get some attention. It must be lonely being a Cat internet troll on another team's message board. I've always wondered what kind of person trolls on another team's sports message board. Seems weird to me.
