Ouch. I'm from Havre. This is deeply troubling. I mean really hurtful. LIke, real mean.

I'm not from Havre and even I was feeling the hurt. I'm from Ekalaka/Baker and they often get the same criticisms. The truth is they are great little towns with good people and they produce some great athletes (Schillinger/Mariani). I haven't been to Havre for many years but I remember it as a nice friendly town with good people who actually keep quite busy with some awesome outdoor activities. I'll give it a thumbs up.

Rumor that he is coaching in Havre? Or living in Havre?

The Offensive Coordinator for the Lights.

And o-line coach. He's excited to be OC. I see that the former Cat coach O'Brien, who had the drug issues, is on the staff there, or was in 2023. The former OC was a NFL player from WSU, who knows Rosie.

One of the Premier Garden Spots of the Highline. People are fleeing those Blue states to get in on the ground floor, before word gets out and the rush is on. Montana's next Bozeman. AND, Jerome is building a football powerhouse, the envy of ANY division.

They must be building an indoor practice facility

According to Northern’s website, the OC is Steve Broussard, which is pretty impressive regardless of whether he can even coach.

That's 2023, not 2024.

It’s the current info on the website, not saying it’s accurate. I still think it’s remarkable that Jerome could get Broussard up to Havre, even if it’s just for a cup of coffee.

What the hell, give him a break. He put in a lot of time for the Griz including being a fine player. Wasn't the most successful line coach in our history but did have some successes. If he can help our old friend Jerome improve the Lights then so be it. I wish him well.

Agreed. He coached in handful of national champ games, including 2001 and 2009. Kem says Beers was a top o-line coach. Was any UM o-line coach more successful than Germer?

Some pretty impressive coffee. Ooof!
I kid, I kid!

Thought I'd share a few things many didn't know before, from Wiki, etc:
-Havre was originally called 'Bullhook Bottoms.'
-Havre means haven or harbor.
-Known as 'The Crown Jewel of the HiLine.'
-Established by the Great Northern Railroad as the mid-point between Seattle and Minneapolis-St. Paul.

AND, I found out that 'Big Bud Tractor' has restarted manufacturing in Havre.
