cord cutters still don't get it. Could get DISH or DirecTV, but much easier to blame ROOT for not letting you stream the game for your god given right.

Don't besmirch my god given right to watch my team whip the Griz like a recalcitrant mule.

I was in a bar in Times Square during the 2016 football season. They had Root on one of the TV's when I was in there that night. Can't remember the name of the place though.

Move to Missoula?

If they could offer me the same salary there as they do here, I'd move in a heartbeat. Of course, I'd have to drive a shitty car and live in a shitty house because I'd be rolling in Vandal swag and we know how passionately the Griz protect their turf.

"Vandal Swag". Hahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahaha. Ha, haha, ha, ha, haha, ho, ho, ah. That's, that's just, hahaha, ha, ha, hoha ha. Ah, that's good. Nice work.

Literally any bar nationwide with the full DTV sports package has Root on channel 687.

We know all about the "swag," now that Bobby Hauck is back in town!

Sure, but he said, "Vandal Swag". It's like "Costanza Speed".

OK, I'm just going to lay this one out there: Root Sports sucks a bag of dicks. I live on the east coast, do any of you Griz know a way to stream it if we're outside of the Root Sports footpring.

I'm offering a reward to the person who gives me information leading to my ability to watch the game.

VP97: Check out The Field House ( in the Market East train station) at 1150 Filbert Street in Philly, 215 629-1520. They are part of the nationwide network that hosts displaced Griz and Bobcats for The Brawl of the Wild every November. They might deign to find a screen where a Vandella can grab a Rolling Rock and catch the game.

Not quite. One must have the full sports package on DTV to have Root 687. I like your revision as a whole, but we need to talk about attention to detail. Please see me Monday morning. Try to have a nice weekend [now].

Maybe...depends on whether you're subscribed to a qualified cable tv package

https://northwest.rootsports.com/root-sports-app/

Nope. I'm with Verizon in Philly. Still haven't figured a way around that. It's literally the only game I have been looking forward to watching and Root is depriving me of my god-given, constitutional right to watch the game.

If you think about it, it's really worth your while to find a way for me to watch. If you win, you can collect my tears, which have magical properties.
Go to any sports bar that has DirecTV, Root ch. 687.

Sorry. Out with family. Seems like associate job. Have good weekend. Talk Monday re: attn to detail.

LOL. Let's all pretend that anybody east of the Rockies actually gives a crap about god awful Big Sky football and god awful ROOT sports.

Nobody gave a crap about Idaho in the Sun Belt either but at least you could watch the games on ESPN3 if you hated yourself enough.

LMAO at the garbage Big Sky and LMAO at any team that wins less than 6 games in this conference.

Upgrade your cable or satellite package to include all the regional sports networks. Only your non regional professional sports are blacked out with that package. It's well worth the money.

Question (simple curiosity): How does one do a free trial on DirecTV? The receiver should be no problem, but I'm not sure how you install the satellite receiver. Portable unit?

I'm pretty sure these trials folks are talking about are so that you can watch it on your computer. If you want to watch it on your tv, simply get the trial on your pc/laptop/mac/whatever, connect said pc/laptop to tv via hdmi cords or other means and voila! Griz game!

Not Direct TV but rather directtvnow. It is streaming (like sling tv and the like) and works very well.

Or go buy a smart tv for <$400.

Okay ... Gotcha. Which basically means you're streaming the feed and throwing it to your TV. That's great, but why not just find an Internet stream and use that? For us ... don't get me started. Because CenturyLink has a monopoly (basically) on DSL service in our area, we're blocked on higher-speed access. Competition will fix that, but not over-night.

One - this route is a "legal" internet stream and not prone to hiccups - or I'm sure GrizPsych could give you some pointers. I could watch it on my laptop, but I've got a cord that can throw it to a bigger screen so that is what I did.

Two - you may not even need high speed to make ATT Watch or the DirectTV Now functional. It's free (as long as you cancel before your trial ends) - so why not give it a try? If it doesn't work you just cancel the trial and at least you've give it a go.
