I am on old guy but I don't live in the past like some do. cats have owned us recently...today that changes and we kick their scats all over the field. Anybody who does not think this is a rivalry no matter what the overall record is not paying attention...new streak starts today. Don't know if it is true but someone said Ifonse was limping badly getting off the bus in Butte.

No rivalry at all... It's a competition for some odd reason in the last 18 years, tied at 9-9 as mentioned, but it's not a rivalry in any sense of the word.

When one team is ahead by 31 games, it's not even close.

We all have our own definitions, but it doesn't meet the actual term.

If the Griz win the next 9 and the gap becomes 40 games, will you still say it's a rivalry?

I have heard, maybe speculation, that the Griz would never go Independent or to the 1-A, forever ditching the worthless conference, unless JUCO also went because of the "Rivalry"...

Ok. Fair enough. When it's an actual Rivalry.

Alabama / Auburn... 47 to 37
Michigan / OSU... 58 to 51
Florida / Florida St... 36 to 26

Etc... Those can be called legit rivalries.

For me, When the Junior College of Kitten Knitters wins to the point their deficit is only 10 games as opposed to the current 31 games, I will listen... That, or they tie the winning streak of 16.

I didn't even know they had a message board of humans until a few weeks ago, that's how big the "rivalry" is...

So do we not have a rivalry with Idaho? By your definition apparently not.

hell yes I will. try and tell coke and pepsi they don't have a rivalry because coke continues to outsell pepsi every year. Every year no matter the other teams record the battle for state bragging rights will be fought. I just looked the definition of rivalry up and certainly meets it..competition for the same objective or for superiority in the same field.

Bragging rights is a whole different term.

I tried repeatedly to get him to say "I meant Don't Tase me Bro", meaning he would intellectually realize his language was wrong. I was giving the Knitten a chance, at which he failed miserably.

Then I thought he quite possibly may have never heard of the cartoon character because of his younger age ??? , and maybe Taz has been cancelled by the Left for making noise or something.
