Reverse Halfback Pass

If I was EWU I would definitely try a reverse/pass against us. San Diego tried three and on each we were dead to rights if they had executed. We over pursued. Do you think Baldwin noticed.

Yes. :ugeek:

Just like our reverse WR pass? We run it every game and it's as predictable as Nguyen putting the ball on the ground.

Gimmicks are for losers

Only if it doesn't work. SD was real close to scoring a BUNCH using that play.

"When 83 gets the ball on a sweep, it's a fake. He'll abruptly pull up, gather himself, and throw a deep fade 5 yards out of bounds. Got it?"

I don't really care how we might run the play. Whether it is a gimmick or not is irrelevant. How we defended was the issue. I was concerned about our safeties biting on the fake all three times.

Yep. I thought the same thing leaving the game. I would be surprised if we don't see EWU try that at least once.

Doubt that EWU will be playing against the Griz backups, like SD was.

Come on Alpha ever since you got out of rehab you just want us to run the ball right up the gut. No tricks, no gimmicks, no new plays and no guess work for the opposition. I now have put U out of the running for the OC.

Spending much time with the indigent will in fact micro wave one's brain.

Gadget plays should only be brought out once during the playoffs, or in crucial regular season games...and never seen again. You can't run the same one in 5 different games and expect it to keep working, there's this thing called video that other teams have now.

But I do like, even in the NFL playoffs, when they pull something crazy out of the mix as a one-time thing, even old Belicheat dials one up once in a while.

Not positive all 3 plays came against backups.

You are wrong and pLaYaRAPe is right. You see PR was wedged firmly I'm the ass or holding onto the safeties jock.......hence why the WR ran right by them. It's hard to run fast with a 60 year old polyp.

With that, I stand corrected.
