Doing the MONTANA - GRIZZLIES chant as the opposing team is walking down the tunnel was awesome last year at the Northern Iowa game. Would be a great tradition and once everyone in the stadium caught on it would be real intimidating.

The chant "Montana Grizzlies" was awesome before the UNI game, however, need to get the cheer squad, Monte involved. Last year, Chris started the chant from between the goal posts of the north endzone. Took a little while to get going. Once it did, what sound, what an atmosphere...

+1 That was sweet during the UNI game last year, but it has the potential to be much better. Doesn't get any better than when the whole stadium gets into it.

This should be pushed continuously by the fans during timeouts or really any dull point when we're not on offense. I say the fans because UM only pushes it sparingly as they want our attention during timeouts on Griz Vision and the corporate promotions.

Love using this at road games when walking through the tailgates.

That was a great atmosphere to welcome a visiting team into.. this should be done every game. I'm glad Chris got that started.. we need to continue it in the future.

How about a Monte entrance by Harley, dragging Royce a couple times around the field, by the heels with a logging chain? Then, tar and chicken-feather his ass at mid-field. Kind of a Foresters Ball and Griz football thank you for his CHICKENshit handling of everything. Thank you Royce. Pat Williams could be featured at the Liberty game. Florio at homecoming. Anyone have a thought on a good replacement for the skydivers before the games? I know we argue about the program getting stagnant and there are some changes that could be made. Personally, I would really like to see evening games with the lights we have but we don't seem to want to take advantage of that right now. Perhaps a zip line from the M for Monte to roll in on. I think back to some of my favorites and Monte rolling in in the muscle car a while back hits the list. Some new videos before the game would be great. To be honest, I would like to see a new video every year. You would think a school like UM would be able to have students produce some great ones. Perhaps even open it up to the public and have a contest to produce the best one they could and pay money for the one that wins or even some sideline tickets for a game or two. Just some thoughts whatcha got up your sleeve?

How about a video showing Tokyo kicking Engstrom out of the back of an airplane over WGS, with no parachute?? Seems like a win-win....

are the skydivers done or is this just part of the general discussion about the game day atmosphere?

Yes, the skydivers are gone, due to the installation of the lights. I always was basically opposed to the lights, and now I know why.
