Reno- Big Sky conference- tickets sales not what anticipated

I agree with what all of you are saying this is a bad idea to host tourney in Reno.
I'm glad that when they picked a bad location at least it is close so I get to see this Grizzly team for a few years without driving more then two hours :thumb:

I think the reg season champ should go to the big dance and scrap the tournament!

The Big Sky also has not found someone willing to put the tourney on the tube to generate revenue like the Big Boys. The ACC and others bring everyone because they are in Madison Square Garden and ESPN televises every game. Get ROOT or Altitude to pay to do that; then it may help your identity because everyone gets a participation medal.

And good freakin' luck with that. The bsc would have to pay someone to carry their tournament. And while foolerton and his cronies talk all day about improving the brand, history has shown time and time again they're sure as shit not willing to pay anything to do that.

I just checked pricing from Missoula to Reno on the tourney dates & compared them to prices to & from Las Vegas (just for comparison).

Missoula-Reno & return: $376
Missoula-Las Vegas & return: $390

I love the Griz, but I won't be going to Reno.

What? Allegiant. $160 round trip to Vegas. Bozo or Missoula.

Last year the below were left out of the BSCT. Does anyone wish they could have been given a chance at an NCAA Tourney berth?

ISU 4-14, 7-23
MSU 4-14, 7-23

I am going to Reno but I will not be arriving on Tuesday for the 1st round games where the top 4 teams won't even be playing. You won't even be able to see a single team in the first round that has a winning record. :shock: i assume i will be able to drive to reno the day of the semi under the assumption i can see wsu play.

No typos. Prices listed are on Delta. I've tried numerous times on the Allegiant Air website to get pricing from Missoula (week of Mar 7th) to Reno (and return) with no luck.

True. And I could get RT tix to Las Vegas during that week for $125. But I decided to check on Reno tix on the premise I might book a flight on impulse.

Right. But I think this is why BG was confused. Your Vegas price above states $390 not $125
