Well that's pretty comical considering he was a Griz commit first and foremost. By your logic than he doesn't consider UM a D1 program either.

A fairly tame situation compared to someone like Lavar Ball, he sort of sets the bar for parental interference and control. Hopefully young Mr. Brandom lands where he is happy studying and playing and has a solid career. Unfortunately, many folks, including professional sports writers, etc., refer to the Montana schools as Division II.
