This has been discussed for a while. The initial thought was 33 games but they've settled on 32. With today's news of UTU and SUU joining the Big Sky this means that in 26-27 we'll likely play a 20 game conference schedule and 12 non-conference games. One less then we'll play this season.

The little caveat to that is that games in a multiple team event, such as a holiday tournament, will then count as any other game and not just one game for the whole thing. This is a move in the right direction. It evens the playing field a bit.
