It's not just the OL; we don't have a RB we can depend upon.grizindabox said:They just need to find some sort of running game...whether they can is another question with that o-line

but it starts up front, and without better execution from the o-line, it doesn't matter whom the RB is...

Good, they shouldn't. I am not going to bad mouth our current tailbacks...but it is a position we need to look at for the future. I don't think this is controversial....my wife can see it. Minus the fumble...I love Counts. We need to see more of him.
It's easy to slam the OL when you can't run the ball. There is more to a successful running game than the OL. How much priority do you think this OC puts on the running game in practice? Similarly, I wonder how much priority the HC puts on special teams.SoldierGriz said:I agree it starts up front, but we really do need to focus recruiting on a couple of tailbacks.grizindabox said:but it starts up front, and without better execution from the o-line, it doesn't matter whom the RB is...kemajic said:It's not just the OL; we don't have a RB we can depend upon.grizindabox said:They just need to find some sort of running game...whether they can is another question with that o-line

There's quantity and then there's quality. Do any of these resemble Reynolds, Hilliard, Humphery or for that matter, Canada? None I've seen do.havgrizfan said:The Griz have a lot of tailbacks on the roster and not ONE of them is a senior. Nyguen, Counts, Logwood, Favors, Calhoun are the top five. Are any of them Big Sky caliber? I won't judge because I never played the game, but only one of them is on the current head coach and he's red-shirting, so yeah.
