red zone deficiency

i think griz opponents are still scoring 100% of the time they have been in the red zone, with most of the scores being touchdowns.

Yes, it's true. Tied for worst in nation. While not good and worse than prior years, note that red zone D tends to be poorer in tougher and offensive-minded conferences. UM is 120, Ida St 119, Sac St 116, Weber 106, No Co 103, Geo So 100, Mont St 96, Davis 92, Cal Poly and Davis 89, App St 86, ND 73, EWU 67.

If I counted right, 52 teams have given up more red zone scores than UM. This indicates that UM is decent at keeping teams out of the red zone (or giving up alot of longer TDs, which I don't think is the case).
