Records broke in a loss...

Nothing more disappointing than watching records get broke during a loss. Congrats to Gus and JLM on their record breaking days, but it sure is bittersweet.

Played their hearts out - as did all the guys. Proud of every one of them. Eliminate a couple costly turnovers and we win easily.

Tough loss, can't say we didn't have our chances. I was listening to the game at work (or what could be heard as they kept loosing the feed). You could just tell it was going to be one of those games that came down to who had the ball last and made the fewest mistakes. Take one of the turnovers away and we are sitting 3-0. Oh well lots of football to play and all the goals are still there for the taking just not much room to screw up the rest of the way.
Conference champs is the biggest goal and national runner up as I just don't see anyone getting past NDSU again this year, but there is lots of games to come. I was as pissed as anyone at the conclusion of this game but we can see glimpses of what could be. Better play today by the Offense and D just had their hands full. Can't point the finger to much at the DC as the last few DC's here have not had much luck stopping the option. For that matter neither do most other teams they play. Cal Poly always gets there yards and points. Not to often do they get blown out.
GO GRIZ, time to get off the plane and back on the horse

I think Brady had more yards passing sideways than he did passing downfield.

I thought it looked like the offense we were promised. 41 points, record breaking dink and dunk.

Just imagine the yardage if he would have thrown downfield? I am sorry, with this collection of WR's I cannot for the life of me believe we don't have one that can get open downfield. Were Jamaal and Ellis that great?

It just surprised me how many times we used that WR screen. Even in 3rd and 11 at the end of the game trying to get a few more yards for the field goal Stitt runs it again with no luck

When we could have run Nguyen up the middle for his normal 1 yard....

Sad commentary right there. Montana is the definition of one dimensional right now
