If you're talking about his "updated" script logo, then yes I have to agree. I love the script logo we have now.

If anything was ever done to the main logo, it should just be a modernization like this:

BEHANCE does actually Nike apparel design. So wither you like or or not it could be "very real" as it has become customary for brand tweaks & uniform changes to accompany coaching transitions. Guys should have the ability to put their own stamp on a program without crapping on it. Personally I think its really strong work but its pretty rare for Nike to allow public consumption BEFORE they unveil changes in their product lines!

I didn't actually come up with that. A guy on a sports logo community did that back in 2008 and actually submitted it to the university.

I have a bear logo I did a few years back, just not ready to share it since every Tom, Dick and Harry think they're a designer these days and would claim it as their own.
 
Designing isn't very hard if you have a creative mind and a decent program. Pretty much anyone can do designing if they put the effort in. And that's why you put your initials or name on the designs you've made. I know it can be edited out but, still you could sue the person because you have proof of that and the date of the files you've made can also prove you did it first. Willie has been hitting the meth pipe too much!! Paranoid much. lol just giving you shit I feel the same way about things unless its something that I didn't put much effort into and didn't turn out great. But, with that being said. This guy did have some creative ideas, just a little bit elementary for me. So negative on that.
 
Yeah I wasn't degrading the ideas and thoughts he had, it just wasn't executed very well. The effort and presentation were great I'll give him that too.

And not paranoid, just know the work I can put out is worth something. Putting a wordmark on something does help, but like you said it can be edited out in seconds (especially with the new features Photoshop has).
 
I like the Montana on the field house roof, and the intertwined UM, but that's all I would even consider!
