And if Roberta had balls, she’d be Rob.

The onside kick did happen unfortunately. So did one of the most egregious calls in the history of college football. Not mutually exclusive.

The first does not excuse the second.

I think he meant that the Griz shouldn’t be in a position where the refs having an impact is a thing. With Better execution and play calling, the refs cease to be a factor.

Yep. Can (rightly) bitch about officiating all day, but these guys are right, shouldn't have been in that position in the first place.

Is this a f###[#] move up thread?

It’s a f###[#] move any f###[#] where thread. My nephew’s 6 year old flag football officials call that incomplete 100 times out of 100. And to review it and. STILL fvck it up?!?!?? That can ONLY happen in the big fvcking piece of shit sky.

This game was stolen from Montana by this conference. If you support that, I don’t know what to say.

That’s not true…the ref that missed it is a regular on that flag circuit.

#bsc, embarrassing themselves on national television since 1977.
So where would you suggest we go? The frontier conference? I hear the same complaints about the PAC10 conference from all the entitled fans of that conference.

Was it the same ref who missed the call on the other side of the field, when his ruling got reversed for a Griz TD?

You would find something to complain about even if the Griz moved up to the NFL. You are the biggest complainer in the history of the internet. Do you ever only get upset or worried about things you can control? You cannot control what conference MU is in.

The Griz are a very good team, great fan support, great facilities. I say 98% of the conference would love to have what Montana has; yet you come across as a spoiled little bitch…again.

I rewound and watched it a few times today since people have said that, but I couldn’t tell honestly. Looked probable, but not without some doubt. Others have said it was. I’m inclined to believe them based on what I saw. If true, he needs to be replaced.

This makes the argument for getting out of this pos conference even stronger. Do you know why there’s only one camera? Because there are so many shitty programs in this pos conference that only have one. So even though this game had 5 hi def shots clearly showing the guy OB, they can’t be used.

I want no part of a lowest common denominator conference thanks.
Why aren’t they allowed to use the ESPN angles? is that a conference policy? If so, then one of 2 things needs to change. Either the replay booth should be allowed to use the tv angles, or they got the replay officials more then one camera when they have multiple angles. It’s completely inexcusable for the conference to only have one angle of that play. How the [#]f### would we ever expect them to get that or any other controversial call correct? The Big Sky needs to fix this!

Because the bsc is a lowest common denominator league. Because there are so many god awful, shitty programs with even worse facilities in this conference, many can only place cameras on one side of the field (and cannot afford more than one of them). So the league requires that review cameras only be used on one side of the field. So even if a camera clearly shows a linebacker committing multiple murders on the 47 yard line, they can't do anything about it if the cameras are placed on the "wrong side" of the field.

THAT'S the type of conference we're talking about here. So I ask everyone again: raise your hand if you truly support staying in it.

Then it’s the conferences job to supply these schools with more cameras. We’ve seen their nice ass offices at the conference headquarters, and the ESPN deal actually pays out somewhat good, so it shouldn’t be an issue for them monetary wise. If that is an issue though then I again reiterate my point that the replay booth should be allowed to use the tv angles if they’re only getting one angle. That’s complete shit that they only have one camera and this needs to be addressed in the off-season!

Well, its the bsc's job to do a lot of things, none of which they do.

Most facilities have more than one camera, but the issue is that majority of shitty facilities in this conference only have cameras on one side of the stadium (think psu, ewooo, etc). So for some effed up reason, the bsc mandates that reviews can only take place using cameras on one side at ALL facilities, no matter where the cameras are placed. So even if a review is 100% clear from video on one side of the stadium, it cannot be used if the video is inconclusive from the other "designated review side" of the field.

Stupid as shit, but then it's the bsc, so....

Is it really true that the replay booth only gets one camera angle, and doesn't get the tv replays? I find that hard to be true.

Ok, so if that’s the case, then the replay booth should be allowed to use the tv angles as well then. This needs to be addressed!

According to Shawn Rainey, that’s not true. They get all the feeds available. And with the game being on ESPN2, there were lots of feeds available. yet they still got it wrong.

That's what I said tonight in another post. My above question was a day or two ago, in response to a couple posters saying what I asked about.

Perhaps it's changed. But i was specifically told by a person in the league offices a year or so ago that the replay officials may be able to view video from cameras other than the official ones, but that they cannot use it to confirm or overrule a call. In other words, they may know the call is wrong, but can do nothing about it. #bsc, #lowestcommondenominatorleague.

You or they got it wrong.

After seeing the response of the Big Sky commissioner, I am ready to come over to your side to start criticizing him now. What a bozo comment.
