Radio might want to do away with call in portion?

Being ambushed by the general public is a difficult position for a coach. Even a successful coach. I vote for doing away with the call in portion.
Generally it does not add to the radio program or the atheletic program.
Mick interviewing coaches makes for good radio. Callers :lame: No offense doug.

Case in point last night caller demanded to know why Larry K. did not schedule Gonzaga. Caller thought it would be good training to play Gonzaga. Caller knows this because he is in the insurance business and he has inside information from Mark Few.

Larry responded that he thought Gonzaga had lost its luster and if he wanted to get his tail kicked he would schedule someone like Duke or Stanford.

I was left with the impression that Larry K at this stage of the bb program does not think it does a lot of good to get the hell beat out of you.

The insurance salesman was pretty agressive and out of line so he had it coming when Larry suggested that he maybe should stick to insurance and Larry would see if he could handle scheduling.

Actually ole Barny is hoping they do away with calling in to the radio program before he makes the mistake of calling in and asking what is the deal with M... M..... p...... 1 M.... but I will keep it to myself and leave the radio to Mick and the coaching to the staff. Do not screw up your part. :beer2:

If they want caller input, simply have them call in with the question to the station, who can pass them on to Mick, he can decide which questions are suitable.

I've always contended that if you're feeling bad about yourself, simply listen to about 5 minutes of call-in talk radio. You'll immediately think you're a freakin' genius in comparison.

 So true.

You're listening to the Griz on the flagship station for University of Montana football and men's basketball, Clearchannel's Newstalk 1290 KGVO Missoula. And now here's the voice of the Griz, Mick Holien...
