SportsCenter was covering this "study" that claimed that white refs were calling fouls and Ts on African-American basketball players at a higher rate than on Caucasian players. If anyone was going to come out in agreement with them, it would be that loudmouth Sir Charles. Surprise, surprise. SC had a clip of him slamming the so-called "study." He called it "irresponsible." Barkley mentioned that OF COURSE there were more fouls called on Black players simply because there are more black players. I think he also mentioned that African-American refs T up African-American players more for the same reason. Analyst Kiki Vandeweigh (sp?) stated the obvious: anyone can twist stats to say whatever they want. Supposedly, there are players grimly joking about this. Who are these guys, and why are they trying to make an issue about something the players don't even consider to be such?

So is this kinda like how referees only call cross-checking on white guys in hockey?

It is a fact that more field goal attempts in the NFL are blocked when it is a white kicker.

Barkley also called the person who did the study a jackass, and Sir Charles is right on the money. The guy admitted he nver even saw any of the games, he simply pulled stats. Like Kobe pointed out, he has had more Technical fouls called on him by black officials so that must mean there is reverse racism. That is how stupid that study really is. The nitwit who wrote it onviously has some other agenda. What a waste of bandwidth.

He HAS threatened to run for gov of Alabama. Might not take much to convince him to run for prez. Can't be much different than Terry Bollea announcing his candidacy on the Tonight Show several years ago.
