Anyone see his blocking on that PR TD?
Dude took out 2 Bison defenders and almost a 3rd from the forward momentum on that PR TD.
This kid just does whatever is needed. Love this kid!

Don’t forget about his one handed catch last week as well!!

Yep. Dude’s a baller. Given his situation it would have been very easy to either pack it in or just go through the motions.

Every player on every play is the reason for success. These young men all seem to be selfless suportive and humble. They are playing hard for one another! Championship caliber attitude and effort from them all! I love it! Go Griz!

Last week it was Lee who did almost the identical thing on the same sideline. This week it was Rac.

A joy to behold (and to watch!). Great view from the NEZ…

Bison fan will say he must've been holding and tackling. I say Bison fan is just shocked to be the less physical team.

Kind of a metaphor for this squad this season. They don't have the big names on All America teams like SDSU or even the Kittehs. But after a less than ideal first month the staff and team figured out their collective strengths and created a whole arguably better than the sum of the parts. Big reason it has been so much fun. Doesn't hurt having Big Play Bergen either...

I agree Hoops. 1-11! I preach it, I teach it and I coach it up every practiice. Trust your brothers, trust your coaches, and don't try to do it all yourself. When they all get it, it becomes a thing of beauty. This team gets it! Bergen even said it in the post game interview. He said he almost cut it back, but instead he trusted the call and followed his blockers to paydirt. As to the original poster of this thread, I went absolutely nuts watching Sawyer make those bolcks! That dude is a stud! The commentators praised our receivers blocking several times.
I had a conversation with Mickey Mathews a few years back. He said his loss to Montana at JMU was his biggest upset in his coaching career. He seemed to think that Montana didn't have any all American guys that could handle them. I argued that there were 4 or 5 guys on that team that had NFL careers! Many people do not understand Montana tuffness, especially in a BH coached team. I believe we do have those all American guys, but pollsters just don't recognize them. The other guys are always bigger, stonger, and faster.....but they're not Montana strong. That's the difference IMHO. UPSET BREWING! Go Griz!

Yes very similar returns. Biggest difference was Junior was not directing Rac like he did Jax.

Love how Junior hesitates and slows down almost to a light jog.

Cool thing is all three players should be back next year for more big returns.

I’m just loving the unsung heroes on the ST’s…from Rac, to Jax, to Childs…the list goes on and on. Watch that PR again and watch Childs…

LIke me, you might not have noticed it when it happened, but Cooper Barnum crashed into the wedge in front of the UNDSU punter, as he did on all but one of the their punts, on JRs house call. You'll see JR run laterally, hesitate and almost immediately, you'll pick up #40 throwing a block in the line of guys around the forty that got JR the edge. Nothing short of amazing, but seemingly routine at the same time.
