Yep that’s the gate, with the corridor. A natural phenomenon happens that I will give you the work around for….everyone goes up the steps and starts to pack in at the first set of scanners/ticket takers. This instantly creates some congestion and backs folks up. If you hug the right side and just walk by and around everyone like you own the place, you will come to the other sets of scanners/ticket takers that are usually wide open and walk right in. You’ll feel like Randy Macho Man Savage. It’s a good lesson that we definitely have a herd mentality when everyone is willing to just follow the initial crowd and sit in the congestion when all the while there are like 5-6 other scanners wide open waiting for people. There you go, you owe me a beer

But once that bottleneck starts to happen, don't the "open" scanners\ticket takers wave everyone in line over to create new lines? If not, the those scanners are pretty dUMb. I too waited in line for a LONG time last year, and for all other games (Admittedly I wait too long, 20 or 25 mins before kickoff). PJ and GNR were insanely long waiting lines too.

Nope because they are tucked 15 feet behind long tables where they’ve got security folks just checking bags and stadium seats if you just work your way around that initial congested crowd you will literally go right into one of those other scanning areas I feel like there’s probably six of them total but 90% of the crowd tries to use one

I’m pretty sure that’s the gate I used last year. With the little corridor between the field and your champions center? We were in line 30 minutes early and it was a nightmare. Think a big part of it that game was the scanners and tickets. People were getting sent to the ticket office left and right because their tickets wouldn’t scan. Mine included.

I heard the flyover from the ticket office so I was probably in line about 25-30 minutes before getting turned away. But I’m not familiar enough with Wash-Griz to know what gate is best. That just seemed fastest where I was tailgating and where my seats were at. I’ll do more research next year before going.

This is incredible. Beer on me for sure. You coming to Bozeman this weekend? If not I’ll owe you one next year!

Disclaimer I don’t think the 90 year old lady helped anyone at all speed wise last year. But she was amazing and despite the debacle I thanked her as I was leaving last year.
