Question about Bob Stitt

Not trying to stir the pot, but I can't seem to find any article, tweet, interview, etc. where Bob Stitt ever discussed being terminated or thanked his supporters. Obviously no one likes being fired, but there was a significant number of people who went to bat for him and I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen anything about it. If, however, I'm wrong, someone please show me the link. Genuinely curious.
 
Not sure about an interview or public statement but I did receive a nice email from Bob after his contract was not renewed. My guess is he personally thanked people who reached out to him or were actively involved in the GSA, as I am. I thought Bob deserved one more year but now that the ship has sailed I am in full support of Coach Hauck. GO GRIZ! Bobby's BACK!

But wasn't he offered one more year, and insisted on two? Could be wrong but I thought that was at issue.

I'm also surprised we never heard from Stitt. I'm sure efforts were made to interview him, which he must have rejected. I have mixed feelings of how I think that reflects on him, mostly negative though.
