I saw on Twitter yesterday that McDowell and Vidlak and true freshman Ah Yat were suited up and warming up pre game. Sounds like Huot and Brown were both there but not even suited up. Is Ah Yat our 3rd stringer all of a sudden. Impressive rise for him if so. I have heard he’s got some awesome skills.

Not true. In street clothes the whole game. Saw him multiple times. I think he was wearing a pair of shorts. He had a headset on and was chatting with the other quarterbacks quite a bit.

Yeah I saw the same thing watching the game. I haven't seen Ah Yat play, but I heard from others that he's been balling in practices going against the 1s on D. And if he's anything like his pops then our offense may go to the air a little more. Plus watching a lot of the teams we've faced so far, they are starting true freshman or freshman QBs and having a bunch of success. I couldn't believe the NAU kid was a true freshman as well as the Idaho St kid. Plus these Hawaii QBs/kids are ballers. Look at what the QB from Oklahoma just did beating Texas at Texas. That kid is from Hawaii, and many others. But it just seems like Hawaii kids are a different breed.
