QB/Center Snap Issues

I am really concerned about it this weekend. It has already been shaky, and I think the weather could be a factor this weekend.

Latest forecast is a bone-chilling, frigid 77 degrees on Saturday and that could be an issue if the center’s fingers are too numb to grip the ball.

Thoughts?

I'm more worried about the sun in the QBs eyes. You know how hard it is to catch a snap when you can't see it?! I hope he wears sunglasses.

North of the equator the Coriolis effect causes clockwise rotation of things (tornados, hurricanes, etc.) A right-handed center spins the ball counter-clockwise on a snap. The two effects cancel one another causing the ball to wobble and deflect therefore all centers should be left-handed north of the equator. I'm sure that would solve our center/QB exchange issues.

BTW - QBs put a clockwise spin on the ball so the effects reinforce leading to a tighter spiral which explains why there are very few good left-handed QBs. Its all science my friends. Science.

Another good thread derailed by jokesters and trolls.

Oh well, bundle up this weekend Griz fans. Going to be a chilly one.

I don't know where Raider gets his weather info but its suppose to be 75 not 77 degrees on Saturday. Misinformed posters are making this site unmanageable now days. I can see why everyone is jumping ship and posting more on Maroonblood. At least they talk about football over there..

Raider, I do not understand your desire to look into the future, to ponder about upcoming events such as game time weather and outcomes...you really need to dwell on the past like so many Griz fans. Lets talk about the weather during the App St game instead or about the good ol' times of the Griz being a perennial top 5 team and all the championships....

I just want you to be prepared for this extreme October weather.

...ya take a sheet of plywood...
...cut a 2 foot square hole in it...
...prop it up seven yards behind...
...snap till you're twenty for twenty...
...keeping the seriousness of the thread...
...always stay parallel to the zipper of life...

... ...

I have heard that spraying the ball liberally with PAM will help keep it supple under these frigid conditions. True?

Yes!

And a protective visor is also good, for UV rays and to keep the spray from the orange slices out of his eyes at halftime.
