PSU at WSU... Upset alert

PSU didn't look that great...Wazzu was just that bad

Weird stats: WSU out-gained PSU 411 to 294. They did have 2 turnovers vs none, and the one INT came when they were pushing it at the end, but still. WSU just couldn't finish.

Wazzu receivers were terrible.

Interesting, because the stats don't show it. WSU completed 28 of 45 attempts (62% ... not bad), and the receptions averaged 6.8 yards per completion. They had ishtay for a running game, with an average 3.5 yards per carry.

This really is one of the strangest games I can recall as a disconnect between the final result and the overall game stats. :(
 
For anyone who likes offense, the SHSU Texas Tech game is pretty good so far. 42-31 Texas Tech...at the half!

I thought this might turn into a shoot-out, so I told my wife to go ahead an record it. (We looked in now and then just to see what was going on.) Keeps up, might be a fun thing to watch next week when we're in a football lull. :lol:
 
I just made a bet with a WAZZU fan that they won't win a game this year. What do you think my chances are? Rutgers and Wyoming worry me slightly. Am I wrong?
 
UND up 14-0 over Wyoming in the 3rd, Big Sky playing decent ball today (well except Northern Colorado but...you know)

Maybe big in terms of it being FCS vs FBS but I'd bet NDSU is a better team than WSU.

You beat me to posting that. WAZZU and Kansas each looking terrible today. As for NDSU, part of me wants me to see them run the table and lose in the playoffs. The other part of me, wants them to struggle some just to keep a few of their posters under control. :thumb:
