Way to go Griz, you guys held in there and played a heck of a hard-fought game. Regardless the narrow loss I'm really proud of our guys showing so well on the national stage. It was a fun game, I wish AJ wouldve been "on" tonight, b/c if so we probably wouldve won this game!! Great game plan by the coaches as well, they slowed down UNM and took big advantage of their weaknesses. Good luck UNM, beat those Huskies. AJ - we'll miss you, you're one of the very best I've seen in maroon and silver.

I concur. If UM could have avoided a couple turnovers or got a couple more shots to fall, it could have been a great upset win. When Hobson drove to the cup he always seemed to get the foul call, and there was some contact on that last drive by Will Cherry and no call. AJ was a great player, and difficult to replace.

A very enjoyable game to watch. I too am proud of the Griz and the way they ended their season.

Congrats on a successful season and thanks to you seniors for all your efforts and hard work!

The 3 Griz that arguably had the best overall game against UNM are all returning next season.

Add to that the perceived talent of the incoming recruits and the future of Griz Men's and Women's basketball is nothing but bright!

Interested in hearing what the Tinkle haters have to say about the way The Griz finished. I suppose it was just lucky that we had some good players that got hot at the right time and carried the team to a BSC Championship and a near upset of a top 10 team in the big dance despite the lousy coaching. :roll:

Here is a quote from one of the haters from a few years back, "As many of you know, I've been saying since day one almost two summers ago, TINKS HAS NO HEART AND NEITHER WILL HIS TEAMS."

I'd say this team has great heart and has been very well coached!

Yeah, great game. Played 35 great minutes. The 1st 5 min of 2nd half sucked.

Pretty good season, the future looks bright.
