there are reasons he was number one in tackles.....two Montana small town boys (tripp and coyle) making big impressions...

Love to read about Brock's success at Pro Day, and wish him the very best in pursuit of his pro career. Looks like he has improved his chances considerably....... which is great.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what was behind his decision to become a Grizzly--- can't imagine the Bobcats weren't showing him some love, when he grew up and played his high school football in their backyard.

Am sure glad it turned out the way it did !

Brock was a top 3 prospect in the state his senior year (AA Defensive MVP if I remember correctly) and was certainly offered and recruited by the Cats. There was an article on him awhile back where he talked about how much he liked Bobby Hauck, Coach Delaney, and Coach Gregorak in the way they recruited him. Said he wanted to be a part of the winning culture at UM.

Brock was the defensive AA MVP, and was recruited hard by the cats. Very hard.

It’s funny though. Some of the “in the know” crowd in Bozeman claim that the cats didn’t go after him because they thought we was “soft” in high school. I had this very argument with a certain YouTube video superstar in Bozeman last fall. They are still adamant that he wasn’t that good in high school.

Talking to a guy who went to the UM with Brock and to high school with him he even said that he couldn't believe Brock became the linebacker he is now. Not because of any sort of "soft" label but rather because Brock was big into competitive downhill skiing.

That's BS... Cats wanted him.

I'm fairly certain Daly was the D MVP that year. Brock was all state though and yes he was also recruited by the cats.

Very well done. That will surely help recruiting. A lot of GRIZ may make it to camps this summer. I hear Gerald Kemp had a great work out too.

That HAS to be part of every recruiting package we put together! Show all our prospects that if they come here they will get noticed.

EXACTLY.... Well Said... A little more emphasis on flashing pictures of the scouts wearing the respective logos, other than that, definitely show it... "If you perform, this is what happens at the end of your stay here"... "Here's a pen" :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
