Royce breaks the game down. Tight game. Advantage Montana. Read the full preview here.

I think for the last few years and including this one the Cats have developed a mental toughness from Coach Huse and frankly we have needed it. The Cats hustle and have been able to win ugly. Erik Rush has finally come into his own this year and is a very smooth player. Bobby Howard may be getting some points but he hasn't been playing well for the last month. Ever since Divaldo Mgbunga graduated we have struggled to find a legit big man in the middle. Coach Huse has finally started to make some inroads in recruiting some very athletic forwards. Allou is a great example of this and his best attribute is that he has very quick hops. Tre Johnson a freshman can flat out sky but is still adjusting to the college game.

With Singleton out or limited we lose a player that brought an intensity to our team.

Coach Tinkle has almost had the opposite experience at UM where he could recruit all the talent in the world but couldn't take advantage of it. That has changed in the last few years where the Griz are becoming more resilient and I expect them to win the Big Sky this year when all is said and done. Qvale should eat Cody Anderson alive and be done with him by breakfast time or the first 4 minutes of the game. With Cherry and Selvig having big seasons there shouldn't be anything stopping the Griz from a double digit win...my guess 15-20 points.
