Pretty typical

Well, we'll never know if it was "home cookin'" since the camera work sucked so bad on the play we never got to really see it.

For the EWU trolls....

EWU 56, SHSU 35.

Colorado State-Pueblo 47, SHSU 21.

Yup, D2 Colorado State-Pueblo gave up less points, over 300 less total yards and beat SHSU by more points than you guys did...and they did it @SHSU. They also were ahead 47-7 late in the 4th quarter before SHSU got a couple excuse-me TDs likely against second string D2 players when the game was already over.

That awesome SHSU QB who threw for over 300 yards against you guys? He was 14-26 for 72 yards today. That amazing rushing attack you guys held to only 225 yards on 32 carries (7.0 yards per carry) got held to 80 yards on 35 carries today by a D2 team (2.3 yards per carry).

Total offense for SHSU against EWU: 542yds.
Total offense for SHSU against CSU-Pueblo: 226yds.

While I agree the win over SHSU doesn't look like anything special anymore I still wouldn't be kicking sand over at the EWU guys. They don't have a defense but will you guys still be able to keep up the pace with them? Watching that USD game last night makes me wonder. USD is getting better as a MVFC team but they still have a long ways to go and you guys struggled at home with them. Just saying.......

We will see you in November then you can give us all the stats you want...

Both teams will know a lot more next week after tough road FCS games

At no point in that game last night did we struggle with USD. There was never a point where the game felt like USD had "taken it over". We struggle with OURSELVES. And that is something we can (hopefully) fix.

If you want to put stock into the transitive theory approach, then by all means. We scored 52 points on Washington, while Big 10 member Illinois could only muster 19 the following week, so we can go around and around. At the end of the day, we did what we were supposed to against SHSU - beat them. Each game is it's own.

That Illinois team needed 21 4th quarter points to beat YSU, 28-17.
They're nowhere near to being a bag o' chips.

We'll remember that approach when EWOOOO fans start criticizing Griz wins later in the season.

The officials spot the Griz 7 with that unsportsmanlike call. Now let the game begin
Hey, remember when the refs handed you those games against NDSU and Delaware? Yeah, EWU fans should be talking...
