Presser

I'm wondering if they'll talk about getting back to the Chipper during the Presser?

Guess I read something wrong. Wasn't the press conference supposed to be at 10am in Canyon Club? I'm just surprised I haven't seen any media quotes or pictures as of yet?

Friday.

From gogriz.com:

Dec. 16, 2014

Bob Stitt has been selected to serve as the University of Montana's 36th head football coach, announced UM's Director of Athletics Kent Haslam Tuesday.

Stitt has been the head coach at the Colorado School of Mines the past 15 seasons, where he has compiled an overall record of 108-62 and has a conference mark of 83-44. His 2014 Orediggers team went 10-2 and qualified for the NCAA Division II football playoffs.

He is a 1987 graduate of Doane College, where he was a running back from 1982-86. He was born in Tecumseh, Neb., May 4, 1964.

Stitt will be formally introduced at a press conference on Friday, Dec. 19, at 10:00 a.m. in the Canyon Club on the eastside of Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

His hiring is pending approval from Montana's Board of Regents.

Thanks. Guess I had to much egg nog when I read that yesterday! Do we know if it will be streamed?

I don't know if it will be streamed. If anything, I would hope they would at least put video up after it's over.

Somebody might want to check in with Peter Christian who monitors egriz periodically. Doesn't his call in show on KGVO run about the time as the presser? Am thinking the Missoulian might also have the capability to provide an online feed....or even GoGriz, though their website is pretty sluggish most of the time... Somebody, Dammit!

Yes. First question should be: Is it true the Griz will play for the National Championship this season? If yes, do you guarantee a victory? If no, will you resign in shame?

      Sounds about right.

Second question, is the Griz - Kitty game 'just another game'? It's a trick question so he better think hard before he answers.

I inquired of Peter Christian today about the prospects for KGVO carrying the Friday announcment. He said it would violate their agreement with Premier, who I assume are distributors of The Rush Limbaugh Show which runs starting at 10AM. He did say he would be attending and will send reports and maybe shoot some video... Shouldn't GoGriz be able to do something regarding an online stream :?: It's their show...

We play for the National Championship every season. That's the whole thing that drives this FCS thing.
