President Seth

I was lucky enough to get on the sidelines during the first quarter and ran into President Bodar. I was shaking his hand and introducing myself when he politely excused himself and joined the ROTC cadets while they did push ups after a touchdown. I had to think...I doubt there is another University President in the country that would participate in something like that. Several may question his credentials but no one can question his compassion. I think we have a couple winners in Seth and Bobbie.

That's cool. Bodnar ran the Missoula marathon too. Had run marathons previously, as has his wife. Before the game, I ran into Bodnars. Introduced them to the family of one of the transfers, including the transfer's girlfriend (who goes to college in AZ). The Bodnars asked her where she was in school, what she was studying, and started recruiting her to transfer to UM.

Probably could still kick ass too.

Was he as impressed with you as you are of yourself?

What, he didn’t check with the NCAA to see if he can do push-ups in celebration.

I know the Bodnars fairly well. Former Dartmouth football player Jeff Immelt, then the CEO of GE, introduced us at start of the process. I worked fairly hard to get Bodnar selected as the president, which included contacting all of the Regents. Brint saw the 10-page memo I prepared for some of the search committee and the Regents. I called Bodnar's attention to two of the top potential donors for UM, and introduced them or facilitated the introduction. I also recommended directly to him that Hauck be selected as the coach. Let's hear about your connections to Bodnar.
