Prepare for griz to become obscure

A lot of the Stitt haters are going to bitch no matter who the coach is. They are the same guys that work for you that bitch about everything in their life
Demonize those with opinions not yours; very strong.

call people who don't share yours timid, grossly exaggerate what they write to fit your narrative and make you feel good about yourself, and plan to give up on griz football because not everything is just exactly how you want it; very strong.

This is a bit of a reach. By your standard, slightly worse would be a winless season. That's how far away this coach had us from a National Championship or relevancy of any kind.

He was shredded on here for YEARS about the inability to win the big one. Now we’re happy with “appearances”. NDSU fans are f***[*] laughing themselves to tears right now.
I hope they don’t laugh too hard some plaque could come loose and they’ll die or just rip their wrangler husky size jeans.

I’m serious right here. I literally LOL’ed at the “husky jeans” comment. Be honest...did you steal that from CDA? That really sounds like a CDA post. Are you a CDA alter-ego? Is that it?

That isn't my material, but I wish it was.

I disagree with OP

We will INSTANTLY be a playoff team with Hauck.

HAHAHAHA

This. No way. 2- 3 years away again now. Maybe more or another trip around the coaching carousel if the coach doesn't work out. I am not convinced that the Admin would hire Bobby back. Remember Bobby inherited a caddi, not a broke down program he had to rebuild. More likely we get another relative unknown and face two to three years of mediocrity again, the same as it has been since Phlugrad was fired, fans whine we fire him rinse cycle repeat until there is nothing left of the Griz legacy. Maybe we get lucky and get a great coach whom turns things around, odds are not on MT side on this though

Well..it sounds like if BH is the coach, we should expect a 10-1 season, big sky championship, beat the cats(FTC) cruise through the playoff's and of course win the chipper. All next year!? or at least the 2nd year...and if that don't happen??? what then?

So you’re fine with a slightly higher level of mediocrity....

Versus the cat fans that prayed Stitt would be retained so they can continue their version of the streak? I’ll take it.

I swear to god I was expecting a P-MERMs comment in your reply.

Now I am confused who is the head coach of the P-MERMS?

The talent isn't the problem. It was the system, the attitude, playcalling/decision making, and lack of the traditional Griz swagger that has been th problem in recent years. Bobby Hauck can fix that in time to make this a playoff team NEXT season.....and for the next 20 if he stays here this time around.

What makes you think, if he was hired, that he would stay? He left for money once before, and the AD certainly ain't gonna give him a competitive wage.

If he wants to come back here I don't think money is near the top of his reasons. The ties to the area and being the cock of the walk trump about everything else, he realized a good thing after he left it.

If anything is clear about Hauck, it is that he wants to be a big swinging d— in the football coaching world. If he were to finally win the NC here, he’d be gone at the first opportunity, just like he was last time. Why else would he even look at this job when he can make 4x the head coach’s salary here working as an assistant at an FBS school or in the NFL?
