PreGame

Congrats to whoever is in charge of pregame. I didn't think it could get worse. But boy it did. Way to really get the crowd fired up. We used to have something special you didn't see in other places. I've seen a better production at a Bigfork Vikings game. You guys truly suck.

Agreed. Glad Monte hasn't been doing the same exact thing for 5 years... Oh wait, he has! And he isn't even getting better doing it!

On a related note, I am sure I am not the only one who could give a flying @%$& about fancy cars driving our mascots into the game.

I'll jump on the bashing the pre-game wagon. It blows. Monte used to make videos mocking the other team that were broadcasted on the big screen. I recall him entering on a four wheeler dragging a stuffed mascot of the opposing team behind him on the field. He used to have skits with the refs. If any department needs some fresh blood, it's that one.

Have him zipline from the press box area onto the middle of the field and bring some good pump-up music. Do anything semi different. ANYTHING.

It's so commercialized. They won't do anything unless every minute detail is sponsored. The corporate greed that has sucked into the department is sickening. I know the money is needed but it's flat out ridiculous. And I'm sure that corporate greed has a lot to do with the decline

The pregame was something to be proud of before. It got you pumped. Let's get ready to rumble made you wanna scream.

On tv ther was the situation where the camera panned to Monte, and Monte "air-humped" for abot 10 seconds of airtime. I was still laughing about it this morning.

Choose between that or seeing EVERY SINGLE PLAY ON REPLAY, each play sponsored by some different company, causing you to miss about 80% of the live action because they aren't smart enough to cut back to the live action in time.

I love the Zip-line idea
Sure need to do something :(

While I agree that the pre-game was lacking, if it takes Monte to get you pumped up for yesterday's game when you should have already been pumped up, there's something wrong with that. :twocents:

I don't think anyone on here is saying they weren't pumped up, but I hate to break it to you there are a number of fans that need or really appreciate this. If you need an example, count the empty seats in the stands at the 14:59 mark of the 3rd quarter.

A lot of posters on here have been going to games for 15+ years and have seen the progression of the pregame show. And that progression has a negative slope.

I've never understood why people pay for a ticket, show up, watch the first half, and don't come back after halftime. Why even go if you aren't going to watch the whole thing?

They could of at least used a real car. Not a mutstang.

I was pumped up until montes funeral procession sponsored by ford. Worst pregame ever and by a long shot. Someone else needs to introduce the parents too. He was horrible.

As a parent, one of my favorite parts of the game was watching my kids react to the pregame show, Monte, the music, the sky divers...truly awesome. The entire game day experience was such a family affair, which is part of what made going to the games so unique over many other programs. Yes, we go to the games to watch "the game," and it doesn't get any better that inside Washington Grizzly Stadium. But man, for a few years we really had something going that could get everyone excited.

That pregame "show" yesterday was monumentally awful.

Corporations are human beings you know?
