I actually think you’re on to something. You should present your logic to Massey and sagarin. They’d like to know we don’t count every team you play towards SOS.

Well, they're both well-respected statisticians, so I'm fairly confident if they were reading this stupid argument about comparing two FCS teams' relative strengths of schedule when one of them played a FBS team and the other didn't, they'd more than likely agree with me that including said FBS team in the comparison is flawed, and would instead argue for their removal in order to avoid biasing the comparison.

If the tables were turned, and we had played a FBS team while MSU didn't, I would still be saying they should be excluded because it's basic fucking statistics to do that.

Some people need to get a hobby, like maybe convincing the administration at your school to do something about their staff's DUI problem. That would be a worthwhile endeavor.
