Agreed, although it’s in his wheelhouse of athletic ability it scares me and any sensible fan of getting a leg injury

What I love about the defense is that at literally every position now, there’s virtually ZERO drop off when the players rotate. We’re so damned deep that they can go balls to the wall, rotate in and out, catch a breather and give it their all when they’re on the field. That makes it very tough for a team that ISN’T that deep offensively. They get exposed when they’re gassed and our guys aren’t, and even when it’s the “2’s” they kick ass. Hell, our starting LB’s are being pushed by Flink and Janacaro, our safeties go six deep, corners are 4-5 deep, it’s just a true pleasure to watch.

Gubner is a great talent and a star.

I thought the incredibly long commercial time-outs hurt the Griz momentum a couple times. Those long time-outs are awful. They hurt the game.

Hauck said they would clean up the things that set them back on offense.

I felt the same way as Brint and Bobby. It felt like UM was in control, was not in danger, but just couldn't get away from them.

100% agree. Hate that.

- USD seemed to try to pick on #17 in the secondary a bit.

- Continues to be an awful pass defender. He was torched at least twice and thank goodness the QB mis fired

Defense is stellar but once again Robby shows his liability in pass defense mode (lucky it didn't burn them bigtime as others pointed out), but since he never comes out of the game we will never get to see the others get shots at the position, nor get any experience for younger kids that will need to play next year.

And, yes they did seem to go after #17 in the deep pass game and had him totally beat on three or four plays that should have been long gains or TDs if the QB had not overthrown.

They rotate the DL and LB like crazy which is great. Constantly have fresh legs out there. Sure would be nice to see #17 come out once in awhile as well for the same reason. Like you said, some better thrown balls when he got beat and it’s a different ball game. Seems to be like dad is trying to get his son some stats for his Buck run. It’s going to bite us in the arse before too long.

Number Seventeen’s backup is two-time state champion Jaxon Lee. Lee has been listed as the backup on the two-deep for every game in three straight seasons, I believe almost 20 consecutive 2deeps, and Lee is somehow only a true sophomore.
