Bobby said he thought the fans got one of the goalposts. Can anyone confirm this??

Montana athletic director Kent Haslam confirmed that UM facilities director Chuck Maes and assistant director Zach Peevey got the goal posts down and secured without fans getting to them.

Thanks! I remember getting smooshed by one in 2001 after UNI… I know it’s a safety and $ thing, but tearing down the goalposts was a core memory.

They went down in Chatty too. Think they came back on the Griz truck.

South end goal posts were down and headed up the tunnel before the students were even on the field (just noticed in my fireworks photo).

My signature is on one of those. Signed it after the game in the tailgate area.
