Big game tonight for the Mens Team, it would be big to get a win on the road against PSU. I believe its key to go inside to Strait and Hasquet early. Straits missed 4 shots the last 3 games, not bad!!I think when its all said and done Hasquet and Strait are going to be among the best that ever played at UM. I hope Celian keeps it up, he is fun to watch!
 
Based on the little I have seen PSU, keys to this game are simple. (1)Keep Dominguez/ Huff from penetrating. They could be a tough matchup. PSU has not impressed from 3. Going zone is our best option, and see if they can beat us from there. Man to man, I would start with CET followed by Rundles on Dominguez. I would also be willing to keep Graves ready for quickness on him. Use Staudacher primarily on Huff with Rundles helping out occasionally on him.

(2)Contain Morrison- I personally would throw all our bigs at him, and be prepared to use Vanderjagt too. Morrison will get Qvale in foul trouble. I would prefer not to burn fouls with Strait or Hasquet. They are much too valuable to us offensively. Get Morrison in foul trouble if all possible. I would make it a top priority for the team.

(3) When the big 6'9" kid, (name?, something thaler, cannot remember) gets in the game, have someone tight on him from 3. This kid can kill a team from downtown.

Griz win by 4, 71-67. It puts at even in conference play. 2nd of the season the GRIZ go 6-2 ending at 10-6 or 9-7. Btw I see 11-5 winning the conference this year. GO GRIZ!!!
 
Small gym or roseplace? Tough road location in the past. Qvale will set up in front of the hoop and PSU guards will wonder inside and find that their game has been altered. How altered is why they play them.

Any result should not be a surprise.

The game in at the Stott Center tonight, not the Rose Garden.
