They wait a month for better weather and a little rain scares them off? I guess they are worried about melting now.

Wednesday's Practice is OFF
MSU Bobcats Bobcat Football News : 2007-04-18 : Bozeman, MT
By MSU Sports Information

The Bobcats won't practice Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday's practice fell victim to a steady rain that fell throughout the day. The rainout doesn't affect the week's schedule beyond this week.

They didn't want to ruin their field for all of the spring - I mean they gotta bring recruits out to that place, wouldn't want them to thing they're in a pasture.

First it was rain, then it was hail, then it was snow. It was a crappy all-around day, plus it was like 30 degrees.

Gee, I recall several cat fans over here running their yaps about how the Griz couldn't handle the weather. I din't think the Griz cancelled one practice due to a little rain. Look at the bright side, you guys can use it for an excuse next season.

In their defense, it was cold and wet. But, just as I said last year, my daughter still had softball practice!

They didn't have the right cleats ... so were slipping. That is why they lost. Oh wait, that is what the Griz fans say every year they play in Bozeman :)

Ever year, yeah right. You must be one of the many fair weather fans who have only followed the kittys for a few seasons. When the Griz beat you again this season I believe it will be 22 of the last 25 years. I think our cleats have been stuck in your asses most years.

Actually, GB, I think it's even worse than that. You essentially beat the tar out of the Kitties every year BAREFOOT. That's because, as hard as it is to admit, you left your cleats in OUR rears. :footinmouth:

I'd very much like that to change this year, but I don't think it's going to happen. :crybaby:

MSU loses two QBs to injuries

So much for all that quarterback depth in the Montana State football camp.

Veterans Cory Carpenter and Jack Rolovich, who were expected to wage a spirited battle for the Bobcat starting job this spring, have both been shelved by shoulder injuries.

"Two different freakish type of accidents," said MSU head coach Mike Kramer.

Both quarterbacks were hurt in non-contact situations. Last week, Carpenter threw an interception and, while the play was still live, reached out to "tag" the player returning the pick and separated his left shoulder.

Then Monday, Rolovich was flushed out of the pocket during a scrimmage during which tackling was not allowed and dove for the first down. Bingo, another separated left shoulder.

"They're both in slings and are out indefinitely," said an exasperated Kramer. "I'm telling you, how freakish can it be?"

So the Bobcats, who will be in Great Falls April 28 for their final full-scale scrimmage of spring drills, are down to one quarterback — redshirt freshman Jordan Rasmussen.

Bronco, Are you saying one QB got hurt takin a dive and 1 got hurt playing touch football?? See what I meant about that kitty GB??

Yes I do Wildman. I don't remember which former NFL player said it, but for kitty's sake, maybe they really ought to put them in skirts over there. some cat fans want to tell us how tough they are, then this happens? What are they going to do when Colt and Kroy sandwich them? Oh the humanity!
