I would like to say that this is it for me and eGriz. It has been really fun these past four years! Just to think, I joined while I was a sophmore in high school, and now im a sophomore in college.

I do wish you all a merry christmas.

Ill just go out saying that it really is ignorant to think that Griz football can somehow get us to the level that every griz fan want our athletic program to be. Ex: Appy st.....won 3 FCS titles in a row and still you would be hard pressed to find anybody outside of the FCS to give one F&c(! Until we move up, being the next Boise is just a pipe dream Ex2: GU basketball....Look what they have done in basketball. Obviously people back east could probably care less about the Zags but since we already have established a dominate football team, think about where our program would go if Tinkle could bring us to a couple of sweet 16's in row? WOW. I have faith in him to right the ship since he could recruit Kevin Durant if given time...(just a joke but you get it).

All I have been trying to tell Griz fans over these 4 years is that maybe FBS football is better than D1 basketball but since the Griz aren't in the FBS then I really think we should look ourself in the mirror and think twice about who give all our support to. Obviously we have a long way to go with our basketball program and Wayne needs to win a couple of big sky titles back to back to back maybe even but I have faith in Griz fans to show support to a winning program and I have faith in Wayne to win!

Go Griz/Go Lakers/Go Dodgers/Go Raiders/Fack the east coast

It's all about the product. I would rather watch a football game between Highwood and Geraldine than a Grizzly basketball game.

SWILL, WTF? We need to gain basketball supporters here and the university. Please do not jump ship. I hope this does not start a trend.
 
To be honest, I was a bigger UofM basketball fan growing up than I was ever a football fan. Problem is with all the spoils that our football program has given us, that many of have forgotten what two great programs our basketball teams have been over teh years. In fact in the same time period 1986-Present, neither the men or women have had many down years. Basketball doesn't hold the same social allure that football games do. At least not any more.
Many fans wouldn't step inside Adams center unless we would put UNC talent on the floor. Frustrating to say the least. They didn't show up when Krysko was year, and I don't think people will show up unless we get Gonzaga type results. To be frank, I am not sure that people will show up unless we end up with a once in a generation like player (MRR or LK) and I just don't see that happening.
I believe from watching the handful of games on the internet this year that Tinks is going to turn it around. They are playing better team basketball and the defense over teh past couple games is light years better.
I would love to be home in MIssoula where I could catch games. I just don't know if Missoulians truly know what a little support, and backing would do for the mens and womens program. For one I would love to see teh Adams center 90% full again.
