Longtimecatfan is trolling on our site again calling our O linemen slugs.

As I have mentioned many times before, calling our players slugs on our site simply indicates the level of troll you are. Some Trolls are simply trolls, usually lower case.

Some rate failing grades, such as the laser trolling nut (way below a troll.)

Of course we have a "do not feed the trolls" agreement on this site. Enough said.

Yup, Trolls are like weeds, no one likes them.

We need a true power back to effectively pound the rock in Delaney's offense. We do not have one at this point and I think it limits the offense. A good offensive will adapt to the players o hand and not try to make the players do the adapting.
Is a slight modification of the offense really that hard to do?

On a serious note I would appreciate you backing off the personal attacks on a group of young men who work their collective asses off.

It's not personal, it just is what it is. They can't get off the ball. They get too high, or don't stay low. Their feet move slow, and you don't see much if any finish. In OL lingo, that's what you refer to as a slug.

I'm sure they're great young men off the field and solid representatives of your university, but as far as OL play goes, it's not good.

Furthermore, in order to run this offense, you must have a very good center, right guard, and left tackle. You can get by with a serviceable left guard and right tackle.

UM can't even run power correctly. How should I refer to UM's OL correctly so as not to hurt anyone's feelers?

LTCF, after 10 years you should know you can't get away with telling the truth on eGriz. Kind of like the Romans and barbarians, the messenger bringing bad news gets killed. An omen. :lol:

Look, I get it. No fan wants to believe or accept their team isn't the best or can't beat the best.

If tge OL was going to "gel" they would have by now. What needs to happen is a simplification of the run game utilizing power with a fullback, tight end, and a pulling guard. And JJ needs to take the snaps from under center. But, I think you've got too many chiefs on the sideline disagreeing with each other to make that happen.

Easy there, you sound like someone I've met on here before haha. I don't know how much there was to dominate. 0 pressure all night. Don't know how much that has to do with the O-line being good vs. the D-line being bad.

The o-line and offense have struggled against top defenses (Wyo., NDSU, ND). They have done better against non-top defenses.

Pretty unusual.
