I've lived in 5 different states (some red, some blue), visited almost every state, and California is by far the best I've lived in. It's worth the cost of living.

That said I'd take living in every European country I've visited over California.

I’ve lived in 17 states (including California). I’d put it near the bottom. The problem with California is that it’s in California.

Not like the schools where the Arab Spring Breakers are cavorting are relevant for the most part....well, kinda in UCLA's case.
