There is a game Sunday at 2:00. If you know anything about this game or have any predictions now is a good time to express your opinion. I thought it was interesting that Marvin Moss talked to the press and said he would not talk to the press and would let his playing do the talking. Kamarr Davis said everytime Moss made a basket in the first game Moss would run by the bench and smile at Kamarr. The statistic that stands out is steals. Jefferson got 5 against U of M in the first game and Funn of Portland State got 7 in the MSU loss at Portland.

I know I'm a bit slow, but how is that stat relevant? All week we've heard about how fired up UM is due to MSU's actions (shirt tugging, over-celebrating last second win, Moss smiling at Kamarr) last week. If they are as focused on their game plan as that, then they should blow out MSU. If they are more concerned with revenge, they'll be blown out.

Steals are the relevant Stat. Reason being Griz have had time to work on the old fake the pass before a pass in the half court. Its not pretty but it may reduce the points off turnovers. Jefferson's 5 steals in the first game were relevant. There should be a high probability that Jefferson's steals will be smaller in number in a 2nd event. If for no other reason than statistically he averages less than 5 steals per game.
