This is what I'm leaning towards, but I'm afraid of accidently learning who won before I can watch it. I won't be able to keep my phone off, or someone might text my wife, or hell, even a Griz or Cat fan in the airport or on the next plane. If my wife gets a text and knows who won, I'd be able to tell. It just seems like there are too many variables.
Man sometimes that's the better way to go. I won't be watching the game. I can't. It is not healthy for me. I watched the game on Saturday and had to take five propranolol and that was a blowout. Anything Griz-Cat related is recorded and watched later after I have had time to calm down. Some of the older members can attest that I was a world class asshat reaction freak who said insane amounts of dumb stuff when I watched the games live. now? Well, it's easier to go back and say oooh that was good/bad. Btw, UM got robbed on the holding call, but it shouldn't have mattered because the interception was the real gamebreaker.

Huh. I'm just wondering what kind of women y'all married anyway. They don't sound like they're from Montana. 😉
Mine's from Texas. She just gets happily drunk and quilts when I watch the games because I am going to yell, cuss scream, and those are the Griz blowout games against d2 opponents. I don't watch the Griz-Cat games live.

No doubt this would be healthier for me as well. But there is no way -- NO WAY -- I could do it.

Whatever I decide to do, watch it live from my recliner, or go somewhere to watch it, or avoid it altogether, I will be at my destination and not driving. All it takes is some 'multi-tasker' driving while watching the game on his phone, while swilling a cold beer and eating his burger and fries, to get wrapped up in some play and BOOM! he turns my full-size hot rod(and ME) into a compact version of what WAS ME!

No way could I watch in an airport bar. I have the espn subscription ($30/month) so would watch on my phone with earbuds in a calm area of the airport. If you have a long layover in SLC, terminal 2 is a ghost town and also has a Smash Burger.

If you have to board the airplane during the game keep in mind that cell service is Federally required to be turned off to protect the wireless companies, not a safety issue with the airplane
;) and use airplane wifi or Deltas in seat live TV above cell coverage.

Sounds like you need a new wife. Lol. Actually I'm in kind of the same boat. The game is at 3:00 p.m. my time and we have a funeral at 2:00. And there's no way I can get out of it (Don't jump to conclusions it's not a family member or anything but I still have to be there). So I feel your pain.
And this brings images of the best man Mayhem commercial...but at a funeral...(no disrespect intended...sorry for your loss)
