Playoff Tix - Will Call Question

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the playoff game (yes it's killing me). We have some friends who would like me to get my 3 regular tickets so they can go. I saw I have until tomorrow to purchase these. I wanted to make sure before I buy them that these friends will be able to pick them up at Will Call. I'm worried if they are under my name they won't release them to my friends. I have called the ticket office a bunch today and no one is answering. It just rings and rings. No voicemail or automated system (which seems strange since we have a rather large playoff game this Saturday). Does anyone know or have experience with this. Can they grab them at will call if they are under my name? Or better yet if I buy them on line is there a print at home or pdf option so I can hand them off ahead of time? Thanks in advance!

Being in Missoula, I become the go-to guy for picking up family & out of town friends tickets come playoff time. Ive never had a problem picking up tickets, especially if the owner tells the box office my name to write on the tickets. Shouldn't be an issue at all.

I haven't done it for football, but I have gone to pick up BSC basketball tournament tickets for someone else and it was easy enough. They just called and said I would be coming, they checked my ID and sent me on my merry way with some tickets :thumb:

I did this with my sister's season tickets for the Cal Poly game, and the kid working will-call didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, or where to finds the tickets. Good to hear this isn't the norm.

Thanks Titleist. Sounds like it's possible them. Awesome.

Yeah, it said as much on the form that was sent out by mail so you should be all good to dump them off to someone else, provided you can actually get through to the ticket office.

Griz Tix refuses to recognize that we are season ticket holders, and will not process our tickets for the game on Saturday. I'm so furious with them, we just may not go to the game!!!!!!!!

I went by the box office around 4 this afternoon, about 10 people in line moved quickly and handled my request efficiently. If you received your order form you should just drop by. Plus you get a chance to rub the trophy while you are there.

I had the same problem and was getting very frustrated. It eventually came up with my seats. Took awhile, but keep at it. Must be a lot of people trying to do the online thing and overloading it.

You know, considering how much they charge in service fees on GrizTix to buy any ticket, whether it be sporting events or concerts, it sure seems to be a steaming pile of shit quite often. Hardly ever works, hard to navigate (coming from someone who's been in IT for 10 years), and gets overloaded really easily. It'd be nice if they'd put the "service fees" to work and operate a ticketing system and servers that were capable of high traffic.

Cannot argue.

Griztix has been tough this year with other events, but it worked to get my seasoners for the playoff game. They've been pretty apologetic and decent about it, so forgivable.

You can elect to receive your playoff tickets via email and forward said email to whoever you are giving your seats to. They can print the tickets. Also, I've found you can scan/email any tickets with the barcode to a recipient to print and it seems to get scanned ok at the gate.

Not to sound like a cheap prick, but it costs you A DOLLAR to do this? WTF? Charge me a dollar to print it on my own printer? lol.. god I hate Griztix.

Ha! I hear ya. Maybe it's a dollar cost to keep you from having to deal with a long will call line or an inexperienced teener at the window?

Actually, they were pretty cool to me a couple of years ago when I lost my wallet in the stadium. Got me in touch with university relations pdq and was able to get it back before heading back home.
