I am sure most of you watched this game LIVE online but in case you missed it here is a recap.
We pick up the action midway thru the First where Heritage on a good play action hits Allatoona with a55 yard bomb wide open to take 7-0 lead. Allatoona returns kickoff to the 40 and on first play try and out pattern and bam Heritage steps in front and takes it to the house for a 14-0 lead....
Allatoona then methodically takes it down the field and on the first play of 2nd quarter walk in from 1 foot away to cut the lead in half 14-7. The Bucs pin Heritage deep and between good D and penalties force a punt. Allatoona marches down for a 37 yard fg cuts it to 14-10. In the last minutes of the half Allatoona runs it down thier throat and with :09 left to the half hit a 16 yard fade TD to take 17-14 halftime lead...
Heritage forces a punt in 3rd qtr and has a beautiful drive capped off by 2 yard run for 21-17 lead. Allatoona hits a couple plays then a beautiful 21 yard pass and catch to get to the 5. And take it in from again 1 ft out for 24-21 lead. they exchange possessions in 4th them Allatoona is backed up with 2:40 ta go on own 15 and is stopped. Heritage hits a big 20 yard pass play on 4th n 6 from the 50. They get itto the 23 and then 2 incomplete passes later with no time outs and 38 seconds left a 4th down comes up. The 40 yard fg is no good and OUR ALLATOONA BUCS hang on for 24-21 WIN WAHOOOO!!!!
