I think you are reading into it way too much. Calhoun probably had no intention of bashing BG. I think he's talking about Phillips compared to the other QBs on the roster right now.

Brady Gustafson and Caleb Kidder. 2 Montana natives and young men who seem the epitome of the kind of "Griz" we should all take pride in. Talent, good students, no off field questions at all. They will both succeed in life after Griz football regardless of where they land.

No worries! I like the guy, but know he had some deficiencies in his game. Hopefully the next starter will take the torch and raise the bar.
