54 Griz got to take part in that dismantling.

Dressed but didn't get in; Williams, Vidlak, Longin, Whitehead, Huot, Alford, McGurran, Young, Dantic, Croy, Evans, Detrick, Walton, Osteen, Henrickson, Barney, Dreis, Lincoln, Ray, B.Lang, Finch, Klumph, Weida, Prendergast, J.Ramos, McPherson, and Smith

Saw Wegener, Mayginnes, and Brown all on the sidelines in jerseys.

They showed the Red Shirts quite a bit but lots of them were bundled up; Brady, Sliter, Dever, Buehler, Stevenson, Oven, and Opitz all got some air time.

No sign of any of the long term injuries but I know jerseys and numbers not faces. Also didn't see Lamar Campbell but might have just missed him on the Griz sidelines.

--- You want depth? Riley Wilson might be our best LB and he doesn't start. Not taking away from any who do, they are all solid, he has another gear.

--- Gregorak's best line was in response to "The Cats have packed up their tent." He quipped with something like "they never set it up in the first place." I can't find it now but it made me laugh at the time. GO GRIZ!

I wish he had been able to finish his thought on the run by Ostmo, something about Ferris Bueller State I think.

I thought Brown got in at the end.

Sorry, my bad for not clarifying (K.Brown did play the last series), it was L.Brown who was on the sideline in a jersey.

I saw K Brown but what I found interesting as far as Kris is concerned, he came
out of the tunnel when the Seniors were introduced, I would say it was his last season.

Liam Brown did not play. Kris Brown finished the game at QB.

Otsmo and K.Brown both seemed to have played in their last Brawl and were honored with the seniors.

And I got my wish with it being a blowout and Kris Brown finishing off the game. Just think he could have come in ONE series earlier and maybe thrown a pass or two. :)

Two questions:

1) Are you SURE Detrick never got in the game? That seems odd given he’s Gubner’s primary backup
2) Who is the redshirt that’s a carbon copy of Braxton Hill? Dude looks like Hill’s twin, no kidding.

I thought 9 Racanelli was going to stay but he's hanging it up too. Both 9s are in that picture.
16 seniors

Two answers in one post; I do not believe Detrick played at all, which meant Gubner went the distance (making his play even more impressive, if such a thing was possible). I did not see Detrick, and I re-watch each game, one play at a time, plus he was not listed on the participation report (which is often as fictitious as a Coach Hauck 2-deep) but at least it's something.

Racanelli is not in the photo above; the player you are probably looking at is Corbin Walker, he wears "8" and and Fouch's shoulder is in the way.

Have to wonder if Detrick is dinged up some…seems odd to have ONE guy play every single snap at the most physically demanding position on the field.

I think Gub is one of the men my grandfather told me about. Men basically similar in physical stature but one much stronger. He worked the building of Ft. Peck Dam and men would sign up to unload cement sacks for which they got paid by the sack. Most could carry 2 but one man could carry 5, one in his teeth. Gub is one of those men that are stronger than normal and recover faster.

He needs a chance to catch his breath. Some of that is a product of the offense being productive with the ball, TOP and touchdowns are what’s keeping the entire defense from being worn out as they were at the end of last season, not to mention the motivating factors of seeing the offense tear it up.

They need to find him more time to rest in-game so he’s ready to go when they need him and to keep his chances of injury lower.

I wish he had been able to finish his thought on the run by Ostmo, something about Ferris Bueller State I think.

Right before Ostmo’s run, TG and MM were talking about how the Griz could light up victory cigars. TG started to tell the story of how Ferris State’s coach was suspended this week for letting players smoke cigars after they won the D2 championship last year. When Ostmo broke through the line the play by play guy cut in and the story never got told. TG’s tent quip came right after while they were kicking the XP.
